Opening Verses (Transliteration):

Jayanti maṅgalā kālī
bhadrakālī kapālinī |
Durga kṣamā śivā dhātrī
svāhā svadhā namo'stu te || 1 ||

Śaraṇāgata dīnārta
paritrāṇa parāyaṇe |
Sarvasyaarti hare devi
nārāyaṇi namo'stu te || 2 ||



Meaning (Summary):

Victory to Goddess Kali, Bhadrakali, and Durga — the compassionate one, the savior, the one who blesses with auspiciousness.

O Mother, who rescues those in distress and protects those who surrender — I bow to you, O Narayani.
